This week we launched a massive upgrade to our billing infrastructure. We brought full-stack Company Management into Goldilocks Invoices. No more messy spreadsheets or disconnected billing profiles. You now have a dedicated space to manage organizational billing with total precision.
We also spent a ton of time smoothing out onboarding friction. We improved logo uploads and squashed annoying UX bugs. These changes make your daily execution faster and more intuitive.

Major Features: Company Management
- Full-Stack Company Profiles: We launched a comprehensive "Company" feature within Goldilocks Invoices. This helps you better manage organizational billing.
- Backend Framework: We engineered new database tables, executed migrations, built schemas, and established robust API endpoints.
- Frontend Infrastructure: We deployed strict Zod validation schemas and custom React-Query hooks. We also built a dedicated UI tab featuring responsive data tables and forms.
Onboarding Enhancements
- Persistent Branding: We resolved a critical friction point in the onboarding flow. Newly created personal brands sometimes failed to save. This happened when users chose to continue onboarding directly from the dashboard.
- Streamlined Logo Uploads: We upgraded the brand image step during onboarding. The system now prompts for a direct file upload instead of an external URL.
- Worker Dashboard Image Patch: We fixed an onboarding bug. Utilizing the new upload method previously caused a broken image placeholder on the worker dashboard.
- Free Tools Clarity: We removed an unintended visual overlay on the Free Tools page. This mask was causing the content to appear blurry and off-brand.
Backend & UI Polish
- Global Navbar Accuracy: We fixed an issue across the entire Goldilocks suite. The user dropdown menu was failing to show the correct display_name. We updated the underlying user schema to ensure your profile name renders accurately everywhere.
- Escaping Invalid Links: We addressed a frustrating UX trap in the Task module. Clicking an invalid task link triggered a "Task Not Found" modal. You can now easily dismiss this modal to return to safety instead of editing the browser's URL string.
- Ghost Notifications: We patched a logic flaw in the notification engine. When you delete an item, any associated notifications are automatically cleared. This prevents alerts for non-existent records.
