This week, our big focus has been making massive strides in the BuildRunKit Founder Journey, particularly the Discovery Stage. We're building a truly guided and persistent experience to help you solidify your business ideas.

🗺 The Founder Journey: A Brand-New Engine!
We've been working hard on the foundational elements of your journey in BuildRunKit. This means:
- Rethought UI for Journeys
We've been making significant implementations and ongoing changes to the journey UI. Our goal is to create a more user-friendly and intuitive experience that seamlessly guides you through each step. - Robust Database Persistence
Under the hood, we've made crucial adjustments to our database. We've introduced new tables like journey_substages and journey_progress to ensure we always keep track of your progress. This is a complete overhaul of our previous wizard-style UI, meaning your journey is now fully database persistent and will pick up right where you left off. This new pattern will guide all future journey development.
💡 Deep Dive: Discovery Stage Progress
The Discovery Stage is rapidly taking shape! Here's what you'll be able to do soon:
- Generate Your Founder Fit – Discover which industry aligns best with your unique strengths and passions.
- Idea Generation (If You Need It!) – Based on your best-fit industry, we can help you brainstorm compelling business ideas.
- Define Your Brand Essentials – Work on crafting your perfect business name, slogan, and business description.
- Find Your NAICS Code – Identify the NAICS code that accurately reflects your business needs.
- Early Market Signal Check (Coming Soon) – This crucial final step will help you find initial market signals based on all the data you've provided about your business.
- Export Your Discovery Brief – Once complete, you'll be able to export a concise summary of what you've built and discovered during this stage.
