BuildRunKit Dev Update – User Settings & Seamless Onboarding
Hi Friends,
What a week it's been at BuildRunKit! We've been hard at work making the platform even more powerful and user-friendly. A big highlight is the brand-new User Settings section, giving you more control over your profile and brand information. We've also made significant strides in smoothing out the sign-in and sign-up process, making your experience more seamless from the get-go.
Under the hood, our backend and API improvements mean a faster, more stable platform for everyone. We're already looking forward to bringing you avatar editing, security settings, and the exciting Discovery Stage soon!

What’s New & Improved
New User Settings Section You can now head over to the User Settings area and find a brand-new navigation menu with multiple tabs:
- User Profile: Update your display name (avatar editing coming soon!).
- Personal Brand Info: Edit your brand details so your profile truly reflects your work.
- Workspace & Brands: View your workspace and manage your brands in one place.
- Coming Soon Tabs: Security, subscriptions, and preferences are already in the works for the next release.
Smoother Sign-In & Sign-Up
- Resolved Bug: Fixed an issue where signing in with email didn’t display user information correctly in the dashboard.
- UI Polish: Fixed UI translations and loading states.
- Seamless Flow: Improved redirect flows after signing in so you land exactly where you need to be.
- Reduced Friction: Streamlined the onboarding process for a faster start.
Backend & API Improvements
- API Refactor: Updated the API layer for authentication, branding, user, and workspace management.
- Navigation Logic: Improved sidebar navigation for a smoother experience.
- Future-Proofing: Added a new dependency to support table functionalities for upcoming features.
Currently in Development
- User Avatar Editing: Soon you’ll be able to upload and update your profile picture.
- Security & Subscription Settings: More control over your account and billing.
- Preferences Tab: Customize your BuildRunKit experience to fit your workflow.
- The Discovery Stage: We are working to design and create the best tools and experiences for you!
Next Steps
We’ll continue polishing the User Settings experience, start integrating security and subscription management, and keep working hard on the Discovery Stage.
