Major Features: Goldilocks Projects Redesign
- Comprehensive Dashboard Overhaul: We have completely refactored the Goldilocks Projects main dashboard and individual project views. We designed the new layout to give you a much clearer, high-level overview of project statuses, associated tasks, and upcoming milestones at a single glance.
- Scalable Data Tables: To improve performance and navigability for power users, we implemented pagination across all data tables within Projects, including the projects list, milestones, and tasks.
- Unified Navigation Modals: We introduced a new, unified modal system to display milestones, projects, and tasks. This system reduces page reloads and significantly improves overall usability and workflow speed.
- Milestone Task View: You can now toggle a dedicated view mode within milestones that instantly displays all tasks explicitly linked to that specific milestone, making progress tracking much more intuitive.
Bug Fixes & UI Polish
- Form Validation Feedback: Fixed an issue in the "Create Task" modal where missing mandatory fields would cause the UI to hang in a silent loading state. We added clear visual indicators for all required fields and proper error handling to inform you exactly what needs to be completed.
- Stable Calendar Component: Resolved a UI jump where the calendar component would shift up and down when toggling between months with 30 and 31 days. We strictly stabilized the container height to prevent this.
- Wizard Navigation: Fixed a lock-in bug in the Import Wizard across CRM, Projects, and Invoices. You can now freely navigate back and forth between the steps of the import process.
- Localization Consistency: Corrected a localization bug in the Goldilocks Invoice Settings menu where the "Company" and "Financial" tabs displayed labels in Spanish even when the application was globally set to English.
- Component Spillovers: Deployed a global style sweep to fix various visual overflow issues, ensuring text and elements no longer spill out of selects, dropdown menus, or data cards.
Sneak Peek: What's Next
- Notification Engine (WIP): We are actively working under the hood to resolve a few remaining issues with the new notification system to ensure it is robust and complete. Stay tuned for the final rollout.
- BuildRunKit Dashboard: We are currently engineering a brand-new, comprehensive overall dashboard experience for all BuildRunKit users.
