Let me tell you something most founders won't admit:
I have (or recently had!) zero social proof.
BuildRunKit launched March 31, 2026. Today is May 2026. We have ~30 users. Paid customers? Um, no comment. No testimonials. No case studies. No G2 reviews. No "As Seen In" logos from TechCrunch.
And I'm publishing this anyway.
Because here's what I've learned in 55 days of building in public:
Social proof isn't about having proof. It's about showing the journey.
My Actual Social Proof Stack (Day 35)

That's it. That's my entire social proof stack.
And it's working. Not because it's impressive — but because it's honest.
The "Founder's Rule" (From My Own Playbook)
I wrote this in my Trust Signals guide, and I live by it:
"Don't try to build all 15 trust signals today. Pick one from each category, implement it before the sun goes down, and then get back to building your product."
Today, if you have zero social proof, do THIS:
- Screenshot one nice DM → put it on your site
- Update your bio → add "Building [Product] in Public"
- Add your real photo → next to the contact link
